PRETORIA
STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER CLUB
31st ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 10th MAY 2015
Firstly I would like to thank the Officials of the
Pretoria SBT Club for inviting me to Judge your Championship show and
huge thank you to all exhibitors who entered, it was an honour to judge
such a prestige show. Also I would like to give a big thank you to my
ring steward, Mr Hans Johansson, who kept the ring running smoothly.
I was really
pleased with the overall standard of dogs shown, although there was some
really good dogs lacking fitness and carrying excess weight and placed
accordingly, which was a shame. Also I was impressed with mouths, only
had one level bite and feet mostly tidy and well padded, also I found no
loose elbows, which reflects on movement. Probably will repeat some
critiques as some are so close in defining their structure and build.
There is one
rule in showing, 1st or not placed, it’s only someone’s opinion, you
will always take the best dog back home with you.
